From the vibrant streets of New York and Los Angeles to breathtaking landmarks like the Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls, the USA promises unforgettable journeys for every traveller. A USA visa allows travellers to visit for tourism, family visits, or business purposes such as meetings, conferences, and events. For Indian citizens, the most common category is the B1/B2 Visitor Visa, which covers both tourism and short-term business travel. These visas are typically issued for multiple entries with long validity (often up to 10 years), allowing stays of up to 6 months per visit, subject to immigration approval. The application process involves completing the DS-160 form online, paying the visa fee, and attending a biometric appointment and visa interview at the US Embassy or Consulate. Applicants must demonstrate strong financial stability, travel intent, and ties to their home country.
